I always know this was done by a European, because you all say "happy christmas" rather than America's "Merry Christmas". They mean the same, but it's always a culture shock to my ears! I wanted to wish you a wonderful holiday even though I'm a little late (!), and a wonderful New Year. I know this last couple of years had rocky times, and I hope 2010 will be a lot better. This image is simple; but even in a simple capture you captured the mysterious flow & glow of a simple ornament, and made it come alive. You brought me to this place--ie, Rosity--which I remain truly grateful for, and you were one of the few artists whose 'mere sketches' filled me with wonder every single time, and i so loved what you did, it was fitting that it was you who brought me here at last. I still consider you among the most magical of artists, wholly under-known here compared to your prodigious & wonderful gifts; and I stopped by to give you my gratitude once more & hope that 2010 brings you great inspiration. Happy New Year, Rozie, and many many more. I've been away a lot myself, but I hope to visit your wondrous work more often in 2010...
