The bridge of the Runner was a very lively place as the ship made it's jump to Seindah, where Saleena and Max would get off and rejoin her security team. Ano stood staring into space running the jump figures in her head. She would later check them against the computer. And as usual, she'd be right. Kinna and Metla danced to Joshua's music. A song about something called a bullfrog named Jeremiah. Seesha stood lost in thought staring at Joshua's backside while Melee watched her and giggled. Baby and Zell just sat listening to the music, staring into each others eyes. But seated in the three new bridge chairs were Peenk in the new black and red pirate outfit that Joshua had made for her. Magenta, her mother, wore a similar outfit, only pink, black, and white. Her daughter Mala sat in the third seat watching Bitty, the youngest of the famously large clan as she wore the pirate hat her mother had put on her head. "Captain Peenk! The order is given. Make the jump to hyperspace!" She told her sister. Peenk raised her hand. "Baby! The order is given. Make the jump." "Yes Captain. Jumping in three, two, one." The stars in the viewport flickered, then elongated, and then finally disapeared into the haze of hyperspace. Mulk stood talking to Magenta who was lost in thought, for it was the anniversary of the battle of Coruscant. The day when she lost her husband Jon Ford, her oldest son Ulrich's wife Kym, and her ten year old daughter Azure. The Mazuran felt her pain and placed his hand over hers. She looked up to Mulk and thanked him, and placed her other hand on his. Mala and her older sister Peenk looked at each other with tears in their eyes and then at Bitty who didn't remember what had happened, she was too young. She was lucky. Joshua stood staring into hyperspace when he heard the sound of soft crying behind him. Turning around he saw Saleena, one of the ship's two passengers standing in the central passage, wiping tears from her eyes. Spinning on her heels, she ran back into her cabin. Joshua followed her, pressing the call button outside her cabin. After a few seconds, she answered and pulled him into the cabin and wrapped her arms around him and began to cry.
