Description

This is the road leading down to Corbiere Lighthouse (which is out of shot). We have had some rough seas here in recent weeks as you can see. The block of flats on the right of the photo are owned by the government and are social housing. In the UK this would be owned by the local council. There are new flats that over look this area which start at £450,000 for a one bed (not sea facing either!!!). The building on the left is a bunker left over from the 2nd world war when Jersey was occupied by the Germans. Susan Thank you for your support on my previous post "Angelic"thumb_1989198.jpg

Which direction are we looking? Glad the channel didn't look like this on June 6th, 1944:) This is a gorgeous and somewhat wild scene.

Susan this is an amazing capture, I love how the road steeply drops down to where the flats are, and then the rough waters almost seem to be above them, it really looks scary to me. Fabulous shot dear friend, Merry Christmas hugs Jane xx
