Description
It has been a long time ago.. that much snow in one day. I hope this photograph shows how heavily it snowed today. I realize some of you will laugh about this.. they have much more snow every year.. but in Holland is has been 30 years ago that we had such vast amounts of snow.

Hoi Oscar, hier in Heerlen is het ook helemaal wit, die vreselijk stuifsneeuw vind ik persoonlijk niet echt fijn. Daarbij ook nog een snijdende wind wat naar buiten gaan zeer onaangenaam maakte....een prachtig plaatje van mensen die toch noodgedwongen naar buiten moeten.....morgen hoop ik naar de heide te gaan voor wat winterlandschappen

Good grief, this is great! Nothing, NOTHING beats heavy snow, when visibilities drop to nearly zero and the world has an almost womb-like feel as the ceiling lowers. Great pic - really captures the moment!!
