Description

With a 77 foot wingspan, a three man Gotha bomber attempts a cross-channel attack in 1917. Lt. W. R. Oulton and Captain C. J. Truran close on the huge bomber in their S.E.5a night fighters. Their horses are swifter than leopards. They are a fierce people, more fierce than wolves at dusk. Their horsemen race forward from distant places. Like eagles they swoop down to pounce on their prey. Great WWI aviation scene! Always did like that Gotha bomber- everything about it, the name, the size, shape, emblems ooze that lumbering Imperial Germany chic, like an old U-boat in a Doug McClure B-movie. Steampunkers, meet the heirs of the Visigoths...or sumpin'.

Excellen aerial action scene. A couple of small negatives about the scale of some things. The train seems way too large and the "castle" or whatever it is is way too small. Other than that, everything is good. Very nice lighting too.
