Description

I made this image after hearing again the classic Beatles song, "Golden Slumbers", lyrics reprinted here: Once there was a way to get back homeward Once there was a way to get back home Sleep pretty darling do not cry And I will sing a lullabye Golden slumbers fill your eyes Smiles awake you when you rise Sleep pretty darling do not cry And I will sing a lullabye Once there was a way to get back homeward Once there was a way to get back home Sleep pretty darling do not cry And I will sing a lullabye For me, this image wasn't intended to bring to life the atmosphere of the song's music as much as it was about simply illustrating the idea of someone with a long journey ahead of them on their way home. I think I'd like to experiment with this theme a little more. Rendered in Bryce 5, postwork in IrfanView and Game Maker sprite editing system.
