Description
I am guessing they are some kind of Toadstool/Deathcap so no we didn't eat them!
We have gone bush for a few days! It is amazing to walk through a thick forest all day and never see another person. This city dweller finds that strange!
My GPS is now my best friend!

I think they are "Gem-studded Puffballs" If they are... They are edible, but I wouldn't try it! I don't eat any shrooms I don't buy in the store. Excellent find and capture! :)

An excellent shroom collection just like a family gathering at Christmas... nice lighting and detail, very earthy tones... Cheers BB

great shot, I wouldn't eat a mushroom unless it came in a paperbag or wrapped in plastic from the supermarket, but then I am a townie so wouldn't know one kind from another. But I do know enough that some fungi can be dangerous, or was my Dad warning me about another type of 'fun guy'......
