Description

Another pass through the mountains a few miles North of here. I checked on Google Earth, and there's a huge ice field on the far side of this. This shot was taken using a manual 250mm - 1600mm lens on a sunny day in SE Alaska. I found out about Renderosity years ago while experimenting with Terragen. Since I work in Linux now, I can't use it anymore, but this was one type of terrain I was fond of creating. Now I'm living in the midst of this sort of spectacular natural beauty ... It's not right for everyone, but it's truly my brand of paradise. Thanks for dropping in and looking, and thank you for all the wonderful comments and favorites. The sense of community here amongst the artists is what keeps me coming back and presenting my work.
