Mrs Bellatrix explained, "Alright, Sunshine, the game is Pim-Pom. The goal is when you get the ball to fly through the center of the column. You get half a point if you get a partial pass-through or clip the column. First to get four points wins. If you bounce the ball off BOTH holo-parabolas it goes 'PIM-POM' and you get two points! Now NO hitting other people with the Shinai! The score will be broadcast over your heads holographically. Now go to it!" Sunshine walked into the box-like structure and shrugged. "Did you watch the news last night? People were talking about how much they hated illegal clones! I have a question. What IS hate? What good is it?" Thena swung her bamboo blade in practice and said, "No good at all. I think. My brother hated Cyclops for years after my mom and dad were killed by them." There was a sound as the ball was dropped. It floated down, and Hathor charged forward and struck it with all her strength. It moved out with seeming slowness and Sunshine struck it to no effect. She blinked and struck it harder. It wandered off at an angle that Tossi watched with her glasees blazing with reflected light and smacked it into a wall where it rebounded and went through the column. Sunshine exclaimed, "What is wrong with that BALL?" Thena said as she hit it up into the top parabola with a loud 'PIM' following the impact,"Weighs like a baloon, but MASSES about twelve kilograms! You gotta really wallop it to get it moving! It's got one of them Molecular Movement thing-ama-bobs in it! Lets it float, but still has mass!" Tossi said, "Watch out for Hathor! She hits it flat out all the time figuring it it bounces enough, it's bound to go through the column! Look OUT!" Hathor gave out a short scream and stuck the ball again. It bounced off of two walls and Thena struck it into the column. They kept at it for another couple of minutes until Thena struck it just so it bounced off of both parabolas with a loud 'Pim-Pom!' Sunny sighed. Thena said, "I thought for sure, you'd give us a run for the points, Sunny! You didn't even score a single point! I though you Cyclops were Badass!" Mrs Bellatrix said, "Thena! What did I say about language?" "Sorry, Teacher!" Thena went over and sat down next to her friend. "What's wrong?" Tossi sat on her other side. Sunny said, "I just don't understand 'hate'. It's supposed to be the opposite of love? People are hating Toxic for just being born a clone. WHY? I don't understand." Tossi said, "I hated that bully the Toxic threw in that bush. He was mean and a bad person. I guess that people don't know Toxic except from the news and stuff and think SHE'S a bad person! It's stupid." Thena screwed up her face and looked shocked, remembering something. "HOLY CRAP! It's like your mother said, Sunny! People are labeling without knowing the whole story!" Tossi looked at her and made a ,"Hmmm?" "She is VERY wise! She said humans are prone to label first and think later! It's happening to Toxic! they're calling Toxic an Illegal Clone and wanting her put down like a mad dog! We gotta do something!" Thena looked very grim. Tossi looked lost and sad and asked, "Like WHAT? We're just kids! No one listens to us, even when we know the truth! I REALLY like Toxic! She's my hero." Sunny said, "We should walk right up to that news station after school and demand to be put on the news with OUR side of the truth!" Thena said, "If I knew how to get there, I'd go!" Sunny searched for a moment and said, "You take 'A' train to central station and then the B2 express to the lower center at 5:52 PM. Get off at the Media Center and you are there! All we need are our parent's permissions and we're on the air." Thena blinked and exclaimed, "Sunny! You are a genius!" Sunny blinked. "What?"
