BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

I am crying too, having a dog myself it would break my heart to give him away BUT you NEED to think of your health too and if you are not well and not be able to play and / or walk Tanner he would become sick himself. What you do is painful for you to too but the best for Tanner. Everyone will understand why you have to give him away to make sure he has the best life possible. Petra

Lynn I am so sorry to hear this news as I know how much you loved him. Please know you did the right thing for yourself as your health comes first. What matters is you saved him and gave him a new lease on life and now you are giving him a new loving home. Hugs to you and Tanner

Lynn please do not ever feel sad because Tanner has had a wonderful start in life thanks to you, but it is for your health sake that you have to part with him. Yes we loved his pics you put up for us but I did think he would grow big and strong and I did wonder how you would cope as he grew. He will grow more and become more muscular and powerful as her matures, he needs a strong assertive but fair leader in his life to keep him under control. You are not well and cannot be strong and assertive just now, and if you are finding it difficult now you could never have coped as he matures, you certainly are making the right decision, for to secure his future happiness . Remember dogs only live in the moment and before you know it he will be having fun with his new family, and you can feel proud that you rescued him and gave him that good start and gave him a good foundation in order for him to live a good and healthy life. God Bless you Lynn, I am here if you need to talk, I do know from first hand what you are going through, from past experience and health issues. I wish you a special Christmas and a Peaceful and Healthier New Year. hugs Jane xx

Lynn, you are doing the right thing! Dogs are perfectly happy to live with ANYONE who loves them, they are very promiscuous with their affections! He will be thrilled to see you when you visit, and thrilled to be with his new family the rest of the time. It won't be hard for him, just for you, and you know all our wishes are for your health. Tanner looks so much like my Ralphie!

I know how hard it must be for you to do this. But at the same time you need to look after yourself. I'm so sorry you are going through all of this :( I know it's hard, believe me but you are making the best decision, and tanner is very lucky to have you in his life...if it wasn't for you, he wouldn't have a life at all. Never forget that. On the plus side you will still get to see him from time to time. :) All the best to you and take care of yourself. Give tanner a big hug and kiss from me please! God bless you.

Some things just have to be, and what has been is often all there is and enough. I am more concerned about your own health, so look after yourself and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Lynn, I have to agree with Jane & everyone. Tanner is a big strong boy, you have to take care of yourself. You have found him a lovely home & will be able to see him. Take care & have a Happy Christmas, knowing you are doing good by Tanner & yourself. Love, xxxxxxxx

Lynn, it has been a joy to watch Tanner mature under your guidance. Super Collage above. I agree with everyone else. You need to take care of yourself and best of all, you can go down the street and see him and maybe take an occasional photo to keep us updated. Tough thing to do, especially this time of year. Also remember you saved him in the very beginning. Prays and hugs. Dana

Oh Lynn, I am so sorry, but you know he is going to a good home and you get to visit with him. Maybe you can take your camera with and we can still see his cute face and watch him grow a bit. My heart goes out to you and tanner, I know this was a hard decision to make. I will pray for a speedy and full recovery of your foot. - Love ya, Cheri

Aww, it's sad and hard to let him go, but it's for the best for both of you. You gave him a wonderful loving start, and this is just the next step for his life. And you will still get to see him, so all is not lost. He's a loving boy, and that's thanks to you!

I know how you feel. My 16 year old cat died Thursday and I am still crying. I am sure Tanner will be ok. Happy Holidays!

Oh ! Lynn ! What a sad new ! I'm sorry for you and Tanner but of course you made the right decicsion. Taking care of a dog is not an easy task and you are very courageous to let him go in another family...I know you and I'm sure that you chose a loving family who will take care of him and give him as much attention as you did. As for for your health, I hope that you will get better soon.Take care dear Lynn and Merry Christmas to You, Alex and Tanner ! Virginie

Hey sweetie, you brought tears to my eyes,, but at least you found him a good loving home that isn't too far away,, and you ARE doing both of yourselves a favor by doing what must be done.... Just give us an update and a pic when you can. I know you both enjoyed each other, You saved him... maybe you were intended to be a stepping stone for him at that time.. Do not feel bad for too long.. Please take care of that foot. Cheryl Thanks for your nice comments.

Dear Lynn, I'm so sorry for you! I think your sadness without Tanner! But you must think that he is happy with the family that will love him so much and will attend all the attention that he needs! You try to treat your feet well and heal quickly ... later you can think of some other animal to cuddle! Hugs! :)

I am so sorry for the pain and heartache this is causing you. But as everyone has said, Tanner is alive and healthy now because of your good works and love. You have bravely done what must be done for his and your own sake. You have been and continue to be his guardian angel. I hope you are better very soon.
