This one took some hours to look the way I had in mind - and is dedicated to my wonderful girlfriend. Merry Christmas!!!

I can understand the time these things take you, your shots are often very introspective and complex, and you create a 'vision' as much as a photograph. This is a perfect example. Parts of this fence seem almost like a print, or an etching. The detail work you've done around edges, as well as the small lights that fall on the fence (and bounce off of it) are very expressive. As is the hue & the textures you caught. And the background is beautiful, faded just 'right', and in just the right hue. As is the lightburst on top of that curled figure in the fence. Very thoughtful work as always, and I hope your holiday was splendid for both you & your girlfriend. And thanks for stopping by my gallery, I appreciate it very much.
