Description
Pretty late getting this one out. However, there are still one and a half hours of Christmas left here on the Kansas plains. Our Christmas got canceled, due to a severe blizzard that began Christmas Eve and will continue until noon tomorrow. Had to cancel our family get together because of the weather. Seemed odd to observe the holiday with just my wife, Karen, and puppy. Didn't mind because we will have our family gathering later this week. We spent the day quietly watching the snow fall and the snowdrifts pile up. Very beautiful.

Outstanding work on the snow effects. We ourselves on various years either had snow-outs, blizzards, or just extremely cold temperatures to miss out or cancel family gatherings for Christmas or New Years eve. So I can understand the sentiment. Anyways, Here's wishing your family a Happy New Years. May the new year be better than the previous one ;)

Beautiful! Love the snow here but it is a shame to have missed Christmas with the family because of it. It is better to be prudent though. Hope you had a great holiday!
