Description

Please, first try to see it before you walk away!

This is a stereogram. A stereogram, this is a Single Image Stereogram (SIS), is a picture made out of ramdon dots or, in this case, a repeating pattern. If you look in a certain way, you can see a 3d image. This 3d image will be real 3D! Your brain will notice real depth in the picture, just like you are looking to a existing object in this world.

If you do not know how to view this picture, try to look crossed-eye.
If the picture is too big, save it to your disk and open it with any program you like to display it fullscreen.

For more information: E2
The thing that you can see in the picture is a model of mine made in 3D Studio Max. You can see it in my gallery (if you know what you are looking for ofcourse ^_^). I used 3DMonster for creating a depthmask and 3DMiracle to create the actual picture as shown above. The texture is created out of a picture of a wall in jeruzalem. Please let me know what you think of it

It usually takes me a while to focus properly, but I saw this one immediately. Good work!

Ok....maybe I'm just a blind idiot, but I see nothing...either you just stated a crock of crap and this is nothing more than a rock wall texture,(that would be mean) or you're really hiped up on some magic mushrooms.

the trick is to take two identical parts of the pattern and cross your eyes slowly to merge them into one image... focus on it and the picture will show up. only problem with doing it this way is that you see the picture in reverse.. near and far is reversed. Another way is to put your face right in front of the picture and slowly move your head back while staring at a point "beyond" the picture.

Boy, what a lovely day it is today. I'd forgotten all about 3D pictures. This one is cool! It's such a groovy experience when the 3D hits you! :-) Bart
