Really nice, pleasant scene. I can remember an old farmhouse near were I grew up in Kansas that looked just like it. The house had a beautiful vista too. It sat on a tall ridge overlooking a broad valley. BTW, anyone who thinks Kansas is flat has never seen the part I grew up in. Never called it a mansion, butit was about the size of the mansion in your picture. Some of those old 19th and early 20th century farmhouses were big though. They had to be, given the number of peolple that lived in them. Wish I had some pictures of those houses, they would have made spectacular scenes. I think almost all of them are gone now, sorry to say. Nobody seems to be interested in trying to preserve old farmhouse though

A plantation! I always dreamed about having a plantation in some South-American country where I could sit on the veranda with a pinacolada and watch the peons working in the fields. Great and unusual picture you should publish more often!
