Description
I started this angel for my mom while she was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago, when we didn't know how much longer she would be with us. I wanted the angel to give her strength and guide her to the light. I'm now finishing it today, one week after she passed away, last Saturday. My mom had Alzheimer for the last couple of years and we started seeing a definite decline after her birthday at the end of October, both in her physical health and mental health. Kind of an abrupt turn, as she became weaker and ended up with a lung infection. My sisters, my brother and I had a chance to spend quality time with her and each other and although with sadness in our heart, we surprisingly had a nice holiday. Part of the reason I think is we were relieved she didn't have to live like this for years to come.

I am so sorry for your loss. There really is nothing anyone can say to ease the pain of loosing a loved one, but my warmest thoughts are with you and your family. The art you created is a beautiful way to honor your mother. I was stunned by how incredibly beautiful it is. This is by far my all time favorite Renderosity image. My deepest condolensces Louly. So hard to lose the person who has been the center of your life for so long. We just lost my nephew after 3-1/2 years of fighting cancer. In a way it is a blessing because his pain is gone but also sad because we prayed so hard for a miracle. I believe your mother is also in a better place of peace. Your angel is absolutely beautiful and a lovely dedication to your mother.

Louly, I have no words to express my sorrow. I lost my dad to alzheimers as well but I'll always remember him for his wonderful sense of humor and his strength in dealing with 5 women in one house...bless his heart. Your mom's angel is beautiful. Bless you and yours. Diana

I am so sorry to hear you have lost your mum. I lost mine to , she had cancer and we also where glad she did not have to suffer longer and that she could go when she did. I wish you strength and it will get easier. This Angels is so beautiful my friend.

Louly, I'm sorry to hear about your mother passing. I lost my mom 2 years ago, so I know it can be a difficult time. She didn't suffer and I got to be with her the last three days...a chance to tell her I love her and to say good bye. Still makes me cry if I think about it too much, but knowing she had a good life and passed peacfully makes it easier. My heart is with you and your family. Your angel is beautiful and a wonderful tribute to your mother...mine was a bit darker, but helped with the healing process. It's in my gallery if your curious. Take care, John
