I adore this artwork Kathy, and just says it all to me! I disappear into some enchanted land when I create my images. I love how you just separated the enchanted world from the real world with a hedge, but it is still reachable, all very well thought out, a breathtaking work indeed. I love this! It perfectly illustrates the feeling when you seem to be in two worlds while reading. I love when I'm so deep into a story, that if someone interrupts me, I feel like I am underwater and having to come to the surface. Of course I probably won't be too congenial with who ever interrupted me. Wonderful composition and light! I like the slightly hazy look, which adds to the sense of imagination and reality meeting. I don't agree with PineCones about the dragon. The world is there because the reader is creating it and if the dragon were looking at her it would make him seem more independent of her.
