Description

Just a picture of my friend on a bad day, well maybe not, Its one of four gargoyles on a tower or chimney at Waddesdon Manor, he looks a bit like I felt at the beginning of December. On another tack can you make comments on the colour and density of this shot, It was processed on my wonderful new 22 inch monitor and I would like to know if it looks OK too others, on my old monitor it looks a bit blue so I'm not sure if the old ones on the kronk or the new one needs adjusting. Thanks....

Wonderful gargoyle face...or is it a grotesque? One can never be too sure, but as the features are human, I'm going with gargoyle, though he doesn't appear to be winged. Anyway...enough of that. I love this image. The textures are amazingly rich and detailed, and the colors are spot on. I love the various shades of stone-gray with tinges of brown and a hint of blue that looks like a painted highlight. This is superb work, and in terms of any questions regarding color, there's nothing wonky about it. It's great!

A super carving! I love the drilled eyes, they are the only way to really give a face a powerful presence. It's a great composition, and the colours look fine to me. I hope you are feeling better!

Sorry to hear about your back. Hope that the new year brings relief. I think that the different grays are as they should be and the textures in ZOOM mode are great. Nothing to worry about the pixel density. I do see a pretty blue in the ring to the right but that also looks to be the reak color in the wall. Dana
