Description

Shot this guy on Christmas Eve as the snow was beginning to blanket the ground. He was one of the many birds trying to find a place out of the 35 mph wind that accompanied the storm. Things have been a little busy around here the last couple of months, sadly I haven't had much time for photography or renderosity but I got a chance at a few shots during the storm; I was snowed in. You couldn't stay out very long at one time as the wind was blowing so hard and it was snowing so hard it didn't take long to get cold and wet even bundled up. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to leave. Hope all had a great Christmas and wishing each one a Happy New Year!!

Sharp, detailed and eye appealing, this is a stunning capture in nature. I love the way you made so clear the outlining of the feathers.

Superbly superlative clarity, composition and focus in this capture of the intrepid Cardinal birdie, enduring a cold existence in the face of the frigid storm.

Toss some sunflower seeds in the snow, and you'll see a lot more Cardinals.
