Description

This is a character portrait I made for a good friend of mine, he plays a human paladin in world of warcraft. -Character is Sliman by Nathy -Celestial Armor by Valandar (color shifted to match) -Wildenlander M4 Armor by Luthbel with textures by Arien -Amphitrite Hair by Mairy/3Dream -M3 Millennium Beard.... ugh... -Sword from DM Kerrick's Throne -Medieval City by Faveral Rendered in D|S 3 advanced, using elite human surface shader in places and uber environment plus regular lights. Rendered in two passes for more control on the AO. Berserking enchant added in Photoshop, along with compositing and levels.

Man, you gotta tell me the surface settings on the armor. I own this armor as well but I struggle with its surface, it looks dumb when I use it. I want it to be that shiny and detailed as well... I want Payn to wear it... lol I even have a scene which is ready to be rendered but I hate hate hate the surface settings if the arnor that I am having. Very cool work! (Although I prefer the horde, hahaha...^^)

I didn't change the surface settings on the breastplate at all.. Arien is a Goddess with DS surfaces. You do have to have HSS installed though.. you should have it from purchasing the elite textures, make sure you have it installed right =) The arms and legs I color shifted in Photoshop and then played with the settings till it matched as close as I could get it to the breastplate.. though it doesn't use HSS, it's a much more simple shader.
