Description

Unlike many of your homes, Xmas in Australia is the hottest time of the year. I have spent all day sitting on this beach and have done nothing. I have my lawn to mow, blah blah blah...but that can wait until tomorrow! PLEASE ZOOM. There were millions of seagulls around today (I mean millions more than the usual millions!!) because huge balls of bait fish have entered the bay. We have been seeing huge pods of dolphins coming in looking for the baitfish. I hope I am never reincarnated as a baitfish... The two girls kneeling in the water towards the right are my next door neighbours (see below). They were telling me how creepy the guy in the white sleeveless top was. He sat there and just stared at them without blinking for about an hour! Lucky for him my mates and I didn't break out our maddd macrame ninja skills and taichied his ass!!!!!! Kate and Bronte

strange to see a hot sunny Christmas but I guess you would find snow and ice a bit odd! The beach does look lovely

Great picture, brought back a lot of memories. Spoke to my son on Christmas day while he was on a beach in Perth.

Great shot! It's hard to imagine this type of beach activity at Christmas - even here in San Diego it's been cool and breezy and the sea temp is 60 F or lower.

sigh wish i were there!!! though christmas day here was pretty nice as well, not hot, but warm enough for a great walk in the woods!! I'm glad you and your mates were there to watch over your neighbors--that guy does look pretty sketchy. Though maybe I could have tried out my new kickboxing skills on him if he got too out of hand!!
