Description

This is my last render for 2009. Just like many of you, I really loved the movie Avatar, so I wanted to close this year with a render you would like :) After passing 312 billion polygons, an epic VGA driver crash and more than 3 hours of rendering, Pandora was born once again xD Rendered in Vue 8 Infinite, minor postwork in PS CS4 Thanks for viewing, and I wish you all a happy, healthy and successful New Year :) ...ohh, and may your renders be short! =D

great work it reminds me of the artist Boris Vajelo who i read inspired some of the background artists on Avatar.

I really like the thick haze and clouds...very nice set up!..the colors along the trees on the terrain is just a little too uniform, but good job as is
