UltraFractal 5.03 Thanks for your view/comments! We had a rare event last night, a blue moon on New Year's eve! A blue moon is a second full moon in a calendar month. I hope you enjoy :)

Oh and it was sooo awesome and beautiful! We saw it here on New Year's Eve morning, right after sunrise. I've not seen one in years past as large and impressive. Love your artistic interpretation of the event. Cool and beautiful!

And I always thought it would BE a blue moon, until I read somewhere it was a normal color moon, but that it was second full moon in a month, as you said, not an everyday occurrence. This is a fantastic image, just how did you get that far above the moon to get the shot of it above the earth, with that marvelous scarf of clouds floating around it????? :)
