Calm amid the storm of daily life, my friend. Just the start many need in 2010. Beautiful POV, and composition. An atmosphere to suit the post-snow icy weather over here in central belt Scotland. The green-ness is certainly quite refreshing, even if now looking more like a fantasy in this global warming scenario we seem to be having here. All it seems to have done in the past four months is present us with rain, storm, heavy rain, darkness, even heavier rain and flood, snow, fog, mist, snow, ice storm, leaden sky, more snow. 2009 was our wettest year on record, and outside the cities, this last three weeks the temperature was down to -18C / -40F, or so. Now we have avalanches in the Highlands, and icebound city estates. The major roads are clear, but one has to get to them in the first place... ;O) Grit or road salt is missing. Apparently local authorities cannot afford to buy it anymore. Another week or two and everything will grind to a halt. Warm regards, courtesy of my failing PC fan, from an icebound Glasgow, Scotland, John. Sorry for the rant...
