A nicely evocative composition, friends. Sometimes in windy conditions the birds seem to be flying backwards, but since this is not a video, I can only surmise... From the thumbnail I thought that the bench was sliding downhill. With snow and ice for almost three weeks now, after the wettest year on record in Scotland, a day such as your image presents, would be very welcome. Thanks for reminding me that there is something other than damp, cold darkness left in the world ( not that I necessarily subscribe to the reasons given, by sections of the scientific community, for global warming, of course ... ;o) ) Warm regards, well at least in front of my overworked graphics card fan, from an icebound Glasgow, Scotland, John.

I like the crispness of the render. The clouds are fantastic. I'm not too crazy about the light on the grass, it seems inconsistent with the light/shadow on the trees. Are you using Walli's grass? Some of it has the luminosity channel hooked to the bump map image (!) which could explain that light (and also accounts for long render times...). I like that group of flowers around the tree, it does seem symbolic. The fact that the bench is tilted seems a bit odd at first (if someone would sit there, would slip :-)) but on second thought it does seem to fit nicely with the wind, in a sort of surreal way. Good work!

You have managed to get this to look as if it really is a windy day. The birds look to be dancing in the wind and are probably enjoying every minute. Excellent work and creativity.
