This is a superb dedication to some pretty fab people! I am sorry that they are gone. They have left a permanent mark in this world and in the hearts of so many. I was devastated to hear about Brittany Murphy. She was not only a great actress but a great vocalist as well. May they all rest in peace and live in happiness wherever they may be.

Death is integral part of Life, even if it hurts and even if mind preparation for it is often something inconceivable.

We really lost a lot in 2009. I'm so glad you chose an earlier picture of MJ instead of a later one where he looked so freaky. A nice memorial to all the talent and lives that were lost. Well done Mike. Well done.

yeah.. they belonged in the past... we need fresh blood.. new hero's.. these will soon be forgotten you should have made a block of 2000-2009 and it would be amazing how many are already forgotten.. and of course you left out all those famous in Belgium, Luxembourgh, Lichtenstein, Berundi.. I wonder what you will do early 2011.. will you have all the faces of Haiti ? and the many soldiers that went in Irak and Afganistan... -=- btw I had no idea DAVID CARRADINE left us... during my boating season that is a SHOCK... !!!!! -=- It also seems that more white people died... Only one black person and MJackson who was black nor white.. yeah yeah yeah No Asians.. No native Americans.. special ! The White's are in danger of getting a species gone into memory lane...

Hey Chris, I got this list by googling dead celebrities of 2009... Last night I watched the grammys, and there were a lot of musician that died and I liked a handful of them that did one hit wonders. With the exception of a couple people of this list, all these people meant something to me. Michael and Farrah meant the most.... I feel at peace with Farrah dead - ya saw it coming. Michael is different - he's always been different - I'm still listening to his music on a regular bases - I feel this world gave him a bad rap when he was quite a great guy. ...David Carradine was swept upder the carpet = I truely feel he was murdered and we'll never know - it's like no one cares.
