Bonjour,
I have the pleasure to submit you the new works ‘s paintings .Always around of the them “Eternal Return” ‘s F.W. NIETZSCHE and my symbolist approach.
Why alleys in town or village ? When one walk or move along to roads or motorways ,we go from point to an other point. It’s all ! It’s little. Into the alleys ,one look , one lose one’s way ,one turn and return ,… etc … With pleasure or unpleasure ,with happiness or as well suffering. The world with the life of peoples from all countries ,all believes ,all superstitions ,tragedies , happinesses, arts,….etc…The colors of the live .
I have tried to translate this idea. “ If the life don’t you love, love the life..”…..
Outcomes my yearly travels in Morocco and Egypt ,I have used my villages or little towns ‘s memories.
Fifth painting: THE MEMORY (Sbalouïat alley ;Alley near tanneries ‘souk in Fès el Bali ; Fès ‘ medinah ) Religious Capital in Morocco /Listed in the World Heritage by UNESCO . Current renovation since 6 or 7 years (about)
Format : 80 x 60 cm.
Technique: Hand paint and fractal elements ( Apophysis)

Very nice! Also, in narrow streets or alleys, the world seems to shrink down to what we can see.

Wonderful, absolutly wonderful. In the future I will also try to depict these romatic buildings and alleys (in 3D) from northern Africa, crib of history and culture. But why is he/she wearing a mask? hmm..

i just love your alleys, phelinas! and at times i think, i was there before, it is the rich detail that i enjoy so much, but you never miss to add a wonderful mood into them, alife they seem and tell a whole little tale on their own. quite beautifully done, as always!

I saw this one the first day you posted but wanted to wait until I could find the right words to express the feelings its beauty invokes in me. There is so much to see such rich textures and each smaller area of this piece could be its own standin alone piece. Bravo and hats off to ya for this one.

Une nouvelle création qui m'éveille plein de souvenirs...quand je suis allé à Constantine, pendant mon service militaire de "maintien de l'Ordre", j'ai vu ce genre de ruelles, cela me rappelle les odeurs de menthe ou de henné, la chaleur du soleil ! Il a fallu que je me trouve en Afrique (il y a presqu'un demi siècle) pour apprendre la valeur de l'eau !!! Toujours des peintures très vivantes. j'adore vraiment ! A new creative awake full of memories ... when I went in Constantine, during my military service "law enforcement", I have seen this kind of narrow streets, it reminds me of the smell of mint or Henna, the heat of the sun! It was not until I am in Africa (there are nearly half a century) to learn the value of water! Always lively paintings. I really love!
