Description

This is for Marilyn ... she knows why ... (and for another friend, who also knows why) ...
To every thing there is a season And a time to every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die A time to plant, and a time to reap A time to kill, and a time to heal A time to break down, and a time to build up A time to weep, and a time to laugh A time to mourn, and a time to dance A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing A time to get, and a time to lose A time to keep, and a time to cast away A time to rend, and a time to sew A time to keep silence, and a time to speak A time to love, and a time to hate A time of war, and a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Whatever comes in 2010, I hope you will approach it with commitment, vigor and clarity. You never know what's around the corner. Changes happen all the time, both large and small, and it's good to stay on your toes and pay attention. Embrace life!

I'm not Mariyn and I'm not the other friend you are referring to, but your text spoke so much to me today. It has been a long time since I've read Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 and I obviously need to read it more frequently. Now the song is going through my head but I love the song so that is good. And it goes without saying that the picture of the iris is beautiful. You are off to a good start for 2010!
