Description
Gentle flows the breeze as the New Year springs forth in all of its glory. The emergence of the Self has long been awaited. Surely this coming year will be a time of new awakenings. We shall have new and wondrously creative thoughts that will propel us forward into our future. It will be a future that is filled with dreams and desires that are ripe for the plucking. The year before us is pristine and has yet to be shaped. What the outcome of this New Year will be is a mystery waiting to unfold. For we are filled with an infinite potential and possibility. We are like a newfound gift waiting to be unwrapped. We are wrapped in beautiful colors and tied up with a ribbon of time. Oh, how glorious it will be to discover our field of dreams and lay those dreams before us. How wonderful it will be to reach for our dreams and watch the explosion of color and energy as life itself unfolds before us. Does this sound too dreamy? I think not. For you see, we have a most delicious secret that is nestled deep within our inner being. Do you want to know what that secret is? You do. Well here it is. We have the power to choose and dream our life into being and make it whatever we wish it to be. We can change our dream’s direction at the mere blink of an eye by creating another new and wondrous thought. For you, my friend, hold the power of creation within your beingness and that power will let you live your life as you know it can be. We are truly the most amazing person that we have ever known. We merely have to believe in ourselves and the rest will fall into place.
I wish you all a most wonderful and glorious adventure in the days that are to follow. I wish you an abundance peace and harmony. You deserve it.

your idea of the dream emerging in us is beautifully portrayed in this wholly opulent pastel-vision filled with layers & overlaps & beautiful 'echoes'. The "echo" lines which emanate from the centers move into space with the most beautiful gradations of hue, containing the subtlest lines inside & even the subtlest textures/grains. And your colors morph with such pastel-like beauty. You are doing such beautiful work Gayle, and it just gets better & better: Placing violet against blues (light cyan blues), mingling them with yellows that morph into blues & green-blues---your color sense is at its most delicate here. Though the word "pastel" originally came from the paste (thus "paste-l") that was used to make pastel-chalks, it came to mean light-soaked colors that we often associate with sunrises & sunsets...and you have them throughout this piece. Beyond that, there's a "being" on the right that seems to be reaching into the fractal ocean, emerging like a new creature wanting to make itself felt. (The Emergence.) A beautiful & delicate evocation of your message, and it's so nice you adapted it for your new avatar: It works beautifully in that little space! A beautiful new year upload...

For some reason this image reminds me of the inner ear, and listening to soothing music, I love the silky smooth textures that undulate and caress the eyes. Your words as always are an inspiration, and a great way to start the day--and in this case a new year.
