Description

Just goofin'....was testing something with M4 out---this is what fell out. Background by LWPerkins...hey Lynn, LOOK!! You can recognize this one!! :D If 'da boys' actually sold I'd think about developing him as a character---but they don't and aren't really worth the time put into them...which is a shame. And it blows because you have people bitching about nothing for the male models, but then the sales are so dismal that it's really more of an exercise than something that could be mutually beneficial. So goes life in the big 3D city... C-YA!! Laura

He's nice and there aren't that many M4 available. So you have one sale assured if you decide lol I think it's a vicious circle, nobody makes them because they don't sell and we don't use them because there aren't any. Maybe you could ask Mec4D how well she did.

Granted you are right, M4 does not get a lot of support. I can count on one hand the male figures that I really enjoy working with and have caught my attention. This one has caught my attention. I love his look! He has has those bedroom eyes and his facial structure is very masculine. I'd love to see more renders with him. In fact, I'd like to see him as a completed character! I'd buy him to!!!!!!!

Finally a guy that is more the type of the handsome action hero - and yes, male characters sell poor (a reason why we did none so far), maybe because there are far fewer items for them to dress them up, far fewer hair and so on...

Ah... I always wondered why you didn't see more male characters in renders. I guess it makes sense and not really surprising. Women are much more interesting to look at.

Totally impressive and would love to see more of this man in your renders. The facial structure and eyes alone make him a worthy subject

He's definitely a keeper. Love his strong face. Your right about the lack of males being used in art. Loads of focus on the gals. Which is a shame... I love a good pic of a gorgeous guy. Makes my heart go thump thump. Great expression and background.

Oh, if I did artwork that involved rendering characters, I'd buy him...the problem I have is that I'm not a digital artist in the "use a computer to make art" sort of way...I'm a nerdy photographer and writer...and have absolutely no skills in anything other than photoshop. No money to buy any of the cool programs that I see out there and want to learn. Ah, but that's just a matter of time. I love this image and the character is astounding. Since I'm a writer, I'm intrigued by what story (stories) he could be a part of...what stories he's already a part of. You've done wonderful work here and I like the sense of realism that you've crafted. Great work. Wonderful mood. He looks a bit pensive, or at least focused. I can't tell if he's heroic or an anti-hero and I like that sense of ambiguity. In a sense its so non-digital in that many of the images in his genre refer to well-established tropes within one genre or another. This guy is more human in his ambiguity. This is wonderful. I like it a lot.

I for one would buy him ... such a lush, rich looking character, outstanding details! sigh I haven't been buying lately because I can't afford it, not because I'm being particular! BRILLIANT, STELLAR work!
