Description

Details are better seen full size. My first image of 2010. The original was 1600 pixels wide but due to Renderosity restrictions on file size, I had to shrink it to 1200 and even so I had to use a big jpeg compression. It's a pity. 2009 was a fairly good year for me, in what concerns this hobby of mine of making images. - In November, I was elected 'artist of the month' in the Vue gallery here in Renderosity (thanks again!) - During 2009, I had 21 'pictures of the day' at e-on (interestingly, I had one on January 1st 2009 and one on December 31st 2009). - I had 20 images selected by Cornucopia3d for their front page and 11 for their 'cream of the crop' gallery. - For the third time, e-on chose one of my images for one of their Vue boxes Thanks for your continuing support. I believed in you a long time ago, and just knew you kicked ass. It's gratifying that I'm not alone in that opinion! Very emblematic that the old road is lost into the murky depths of time (or lake in fact) and the only way to go is another way than back into the past. Pretty damned good, IMO.

Well,it's no surprise to me that e-on keeps picking your work...the attention to detail is amazing.Case in point is the way the tree is pushing up the road's paving stones as it grows...how many of us even think of that!As usual,you keep pushing yourself with each image,the lighting and clouds in this are very realistic.All the best for 2010 my friend,and thanks for the continued inspiration!
