Description

This Nimrithi starship is the opponent vessel to Human Galactic Exploration Vehicle Large "Empyrean." As fans of my work may have noticed from the recently posted alien ship size comparison charts, I have tried to give a different look to the ships of each alien sentient species in my "Deep Space Exploration Group" and "Interstellar Exploration Corps / Galactic Exploration Corps" SF environments. The Cybernethi ship is a mix of organic forms and detailing inspired by the Borg ships of "Star Trek": The Next Generation." The Nimrithi ships are inspired by the sphere-shaped Terran ships of "Perry Rhodan." The Nyoshahl ship is an original design by fellow speculative spaceship designer Jeff Robb. The T'lar ships are inspired by the tropical-fish shaped Minbari ships of "Babylon 5." The Ventasian ship is inspired by the shapes of crystals.

That's some really nice modeling work. I like it that you've really thought through the race that builds/uses these ships, and the basic design is pretty much in keeping with their own body design. It's some excellent science fiction, and superb realization of that concept. Great stuff!
