Description

I told the girls, when out today to KEEP OFF THE ICE!!!! Luckily they did as I said & kept to the edge. The ground was very hard today, better for me as not tramping & sliding through mud but not so good for the girls legs, they can so easily hurt feet & legs in the freezing weather. Their favourite watering places are frozen over, there is NO WAY I would walk the girls by a frozen lake or pond, If they happened to chase a bird, there is no way they would be able to get a grip to come back!!!!! So definately ON THE LEAD round those sorts of places. :o( Thanks for all the lovely comments. xxx

Oh Barbara they look a bit bemused by the long cold spell we are having, and especially where you are. Usually being so close to the coast you don't get the snow and ice sticking for so long do you? Brrr it is cold and needless to say I am still inside and have been since the day after Boxing day, so plenty of time to learn all my new programmes I guess LOL! Brrrr! That looks cold! We are actually scheduled to have a few hard freezes. A rare event in San Antonio. The drivers will be slipping and sliding. I plan to stay off the highway during that time. Great collage of the girls!

Us too, lots of ice and snow. Those feet can slip out from under them so fast, and they can be hurt quite badly. You are wise to keep them leashed. Wonderful shots of them enjoying the outing
