Description
New Years Day, and it was cold and snowy in Northumberland. Even the ponies wore thick coats. Perhaps a little over-protective. These are quite tough little creatures.

It does appear sturdy and naturally well suited for the harshness but I have to wonder of those tender feet get iced and irritated standing on frozen ground. Marvelous shot.
