Description

Ok, folks these birds are not macros. I shoot with a 70-300 zoom lens/Nikon D70. The deck is off from our sunroom and these birds are 8-14 feet away. So, that being said, not a one of the birds I have ever shot are macro. I shoot and then sharpen and then I magnify depending on how much I can get away with and still be sharp. I enjoy your comments but didn't want anyone to grab a macro lens and try to shoot birds. Happy New Year everyone.

Interesting intro Bev, and I love the pov on this one. I was wondering exactly how far away from the bird you were, so thanks for clarifying that. Happy New Year hugs Jane xx

This is a sweet shot, and the 70-300 mm lens is the one most often attached to my D300. It's a great lens, especially with the VR.
