My husband and I have been doing photography as a hobby together for about the last 10 years. My love of photography comes from seeing things in a whole different way behind the lens. I love photographying nature, lighthouses, scenic and peoples hands in action.
We have done numerous trips to Canada and Maine for the Photography Seminars done by Freeman Patterson and Andre' Gallant. Two of the Canadian Masters of the art form.
I am a retired choir director for our church and I make my living as a self employed seamstress. Sewing things for the home as well as articles of clothing for ladies. I love creating something whether it be from material or a print. I print all my own work, matt, and frame for sale. Note cards have been requested on many occasions. Â
I think that Renderosity is a wonderful network of artist in which we can learn from. We need a place to put our images to be viewed and critiqued. We learn from your comments each day. We may go back and reshoot something to capture it better or in different lighting, just from one of your comments made.
Each link to another, we can make a difference in the artistic world and make new friends along the way. Thank you.

Interesting intro Bev, and I love the pov on this one. I was wondering exactly how far away from the bird you were, so thanks for clarifying that. Happy New Year hugs Jane xx

This is a sweet shot, and the 70-300 mm lens is the one most often attached to my D300. It's a great lens, especially with the VR.
