Description

The Caversham Lock Cut, now with quite a thick layer of ice - no boats moving in this weather - and the trees coated with freezing fog. It was very cold that day, but well worth the wander for the rather splendid wintry images. ------------------------------------------ Original Photograph 23-Dec-2009

It sure does look cold. This is really beautiful. What is amazing is the stick in the foreground sitting on top of the water instead of sinking in! That's cold!
