Description

The New Zealand Robin or Toutouwai , Petroica australis, is a sparrow-sized bird found only in New Zealand, where it has the status of a protected endemic species. The image is very well presented. The matting and the softness, of certain areas, really give the image a regal appearance. Superb!!!!!

You were lucky to see this one. I have to admit I haven't seen one as it is only in the north island. I have seen the south island one which is darker. A lovely capture.
