Description

The 3 cats could not keep away from the enchanted lands for very long, but this time they asked for help from a fairy to magic all the things they so love. They love snowflakes that melt on their cute little noses, bubbles that mesmerise them so, butterflies that dance in the air, and snow covered water, that Mistapus loves to splash in. I of course added some magical things that I love too, such as snowy white petals on flowers, sparkles, icicles that glitter in the moonlight, and snow that shines with a million diamonds as the light shimmers over the surface. Fairy castles that float dreamingly on light fluffy clouds, and pure white doves. I created this picture for all of us who are young at heart, and love the magic and the fantasy. I wish you all peace, good health and happiness for this bright New Year, and I am looking forward to the Renderosity journey with you, and my dear friends, don't let us ever lose the fantasy and magic, let us all stay young at heart. Oh Jane, this is just achingly beautiful, one just wants to climb into this magical world and soak up the beauty! The kittens are sheer delight to see, and oh my that fairy castle is magical, mystical, mysterious, magnificently divine! There is so much to see, and full size is the only way to go so one doesn't miss even the teeniest detail!

as always, Jane, your cats are seamlessly woven into the whole, your placement is natural & organic even though the mediums are so very different. (You listen to how each medium invites the other 'in', you always hear how they communicate with each other before you finish your pieces.) There's a nice circle of motion between the three cats, head to tail (left to center), gaze-down to gaze-up (center to right), and the ice-floes and ice lines move with the cat's presences too. (Harmony...) And it moves from blue to pink (bottom to top) and your castle and fairy are painted on as if with thought rather than substance. Subtle plants throughout, blended with great delicacy; and just enough snow-flakes, orbs, quiet lights & other star-stuff to make it an enchanted evening. A lovely image for the New Year, and a New Year that I hope holds peace & illumination for you, dear soul. I wish you great light in 2010, and thank you for all the light & love you've given us. I haven't been here much for many months; and sometimes when I do comment, I save artists like yourself for last, because I want to spend time sitting with your images, knowing how long you spend making them; and sometimes I just don't get to that point, I just don't make it; that is, the artists I spend the most time with tend to be pushed back, and for that I truly apologize. But you must know that I see your work everytime regardless, and I see what love you put into them: There's never a sign of labor in them, never a sign of effort--even though I know how much effort they involve. My wishes are with you, love & hugs & peace to you, and I hope this early January day finds you well & in inner peace.
