Description

Somewhere out there in deep space is a little earth-like planet with two suns. They rise and set at about the same time. Neither is a very bright star, but together they produce as much light as our sun does. The sunrises and sunsets on this little planet are always beautiful. The previous post was "Stained Glass" by Shaunrules4eva, this one is Cabin Tom's "Windows"script. Both can be found at Deviant in the fractal resources section. Many thanks for the thoughtful and wonderful comments on the previous post, each is savored and treasured. Thank you too for the faves, such a nice boost to my ego, smiles. Hope everyone is staying warm, I saw on the news that both sides of the Atlantic are suffering from colder then normal weather.

This is such a lovely mysterious fractal with the two suns hiding behind all the lines to keep us guessing what the new day will bring. I like your little story to go with it and I'm wondering if the people on this planet have two shadows to keep track of and not trip over. LOL.

Either these two suns are different sizes, either one is more distant than the other on this planet! This double star will allow some to be habitable worlds, while Jupiter was a second sun, n 'there would be no living things on Earth note!

There is such an Art Deco feel to this work, Rita! There was a huge fashion in the thirties for 'sunrise' motifs in stained glass, wrought iron and tiling, and many houses here retain those original features. But your image would fit right in, and give the theme a contemporary twist!

Rita this is breathtaking, a really beautiful fractal presented perfectly, I love it. Yes I am snowed in here, and parts of the UK are having temps -17 Celcius, it is about -5C here just now, and my car is under 6 inches of snow. Lots of love and hugs Jane xx

Very fine work- the stars emit a warm radiance, and the colors are truly astral. The stain glass pattern gives it an other worldly appearance. Excellent work, Rita!!!!!

A total delight! This is a little like your last piece, in that we view the cosmos through a webwork of fractal spirals. And the very concept is magic to my eyes. But this has a--how do I say this?--'casual' feel: It's like a graphic design of your concept, it's jazzy, and it seems to be having a lot of fun with the fractal universe. I love it. The simplification of your shapes, the simpler suns and their "sparkles," and the big broad chunks of spiral on bottom and top: They're a delight. And the little spiral atop---terrific! And if I didn't say it, I love the paw print on your signature (which I know you use in all your work). Your fade-to-violet hues here are wonderful (top & bottom). Wonderful piece. An interpretation of your own work, abstract-y, jazzy and classy! (We had two suns a week ago, btw. Well it looked that way. Lotta lights where I live, so believe me you can't be sure some days...)

Fantastic colors, concept and lines. I love the bold style in this and how those spirals burst with light.
