This little fantasy boy is for you Jane. For your sweet kindness and for all these lovely and magic fairytales about your wonderful pets and the enchanted forest, you have given us. I hope year 2010 will be kind and gentle to you. This is just a humble gift, but it is well meant :-)

We have had a little sun this morning, but now there are coming clouds again. The temperature is now -3C = 26.6F and the snow is still here. All is white, beautiful and peaceful. We have alot of little birds in the bird feeding tree, because we feed them well. :-)

I'm not supposed to be here, lol, but I simply had to view and comment on this marvelous piece! Helle, this is so beautiful, and brings so many memories to me. It reminds me of the Hummel figurines that were displayed in my gran's house and of the old books I read as a child that had simple drawings like this. It also reminds me of my brother at that approximate age, the wide eyed wonder as he looked at the world around him, the perfect little rosebud lips that smiled shyly, the tousled hair that he hated to comb:-) Even the clothes are so like he wore, this just made my heart smile when I saw it. Its a perfect gift for the lovely Jane who makes us all smile with her animal antics. You truly have a most remarkable talent Helle, bravo on this most tender and heartfelt work!

This is gorgeous! I love the delicate sensitivity of this image. I also admire your artistic skills...I can't draw...at all...well...I suppose I could if I learned how...but alas... I love the texture, as I love textures, but what really gets me is the sense of individual and very human emotion this child expresses, and I love the teddy bear. Wonderful! It is a perfect dedication to another great and heart-warming artist!
