Thats incredible....but now ive got the heebie jeebies. heh. I have a severe fear of spiders, I hyperventilate and even break out in a sweat...yay me for living in Arizona and forgetting my shoes outside...getting up in the morning to go to work, only to look down and find 300 baby spiders crawling out and up my pant leg...babies....eh, means theres a mommy in there. YEP, I have really high arches in my feet and I just happened to put my foot in my shoe right on top of mommy spider...erm, tarantula. I flung my shoe off and watched as a 3 inch tarantula ran out..with leg span she was a good 5 inches or more. OMG...ugh. This one is perty though, but excuse me while I go take a valium and call my therapist. I itch all a sudden. heh.

oh ya... major skin crawlies now!!! but what a beautiful spider.... my boyfriend says it's a banana spider. very cool shot... and you are soooo brave.

It is a wonderful spider ! The reinforcement at the center of the web is interesting as well, is it extra sticky?. Love the abstract web of verticals and horizontal in the image.
