Thanks for checking out my previous Schloßeck (ruin) fotos!!! And now I will start showing my friends the cool place called Heidelberg we went to last year in the summer :) We really had a cool time taking fotos that day! and this place is really romantic! the castle in Heidelberg is really nice and big also. we took fotos in there as well. Great photo. You have really captured the beauty of The Neckar River too before it joins into The Rhine about 10 miles further along. It always fascinated me how many times the place has been destroyed by lightening strikes.

Yes I have been to Heidelberg Castle Many times. In the 5 years I spent in germany that was one of my favorite places to go. Also Mannheim where I was stationed for 3 years. The German people were some of the nicest of all.
