Description
We'd just seen the last of the pre-Christmas snow and had a few days of cold but clear weather when, suddenly, we got more of the white stuff.
There was no sign of snow as I walked home from work but, after a nice relaxing bath, I looked out the window and saw this.
It was the sheer quantity that fell. Shortly after taking this, I measured the depth at 5 inches (12.5cm approx).
It looks as though most people had gone home early from work as this had been expected and the photo was taken toward the back end of what is normally rush hour.
Anyone who has visited Reading Rock Festival may recognise the location. :-)
I have another of these which I'll post tomorrow.
Have a nice warm and cosy evening (or day)

...."There was no sign of snow as I walked home from work but, after a nice relaxing bath, I looked out the window and saw this." Surely the Mamaris kebab shop has been there for some time... :-D Lovely pic though Kev, those bare trees look so much nicer with it's branches covered in snow.
