Description

Playing around with procedural terrains which is something I normally don't do because my computer really lacks the horsepower to experiment. But I threw all caution and reason to the wind and really impressed myself with this one. CREDITS: I used a snow mat from Gill Brooks updated Winter package over at C3d

That looks fantabulous! I love the material mixing as well as the terrain. I have never quite got the balance just right but you have in this one :)

You have impressed me as well.. At first I thought it was a photo and when I saw it was Vue I just had to let you know how much I like this.. It is some great and majestic mountain scenery. I wish I could make Vue do this but everything I have made with it looks like junk and I run back to the safety of my P{oser program... hehehehe.. anyway, a definite 5++ on this .. more of this would be fine with me, keep experimenting .. it brings out the best in you it seems...

Gary, that is absolutely stunning. I especially like the rock texture, I guess it's a procedural one as well. I don't have any words for the terrain, it's simply awesome. Instant favorite.

Superb landscape, beautiful yet forbidding ... would take a person willing to 'throw all caution to the wind' to go skiing there! Keep up the great work. Would look really cool to put a crashed plane in there ...

That is one realistic mountain! I am a bit in the same situation as you with the whole procedural terrain stuff, so I REALLY get the awesomeness of this image! hehe:D
