Description

Hello Good People, This is Bandit my mom's dog. My mom passed away Christmas Day. I am trying to keep grounded and keep my mind in tack. Uploading this image will help to stay in the here and now. It is hard for me to do anything. But I will try. Bandit needs a home. You may be able to get him. He is seven and was spoiled rotten from mom. I taught him when he was a pup to sit quietly in the woods. He listens to me well. Mom and dad raised collies on their land. It was called Shanghai-la Collie Kennels. What a place to visit when all those puppies. I fed them every day while my dad was ill. It makes me glad to know mom is with dad and all her dogs. They loved them all so much. I miss my mom and go to the phone to call her. I am in the denial stage of grieving. I think. But I'll get through this some way. Thank you for you in all you do. Hugs, Therese

I am so terribly sorry to hear about your Mom passing on Christmas Day. That much have been horrible for you and your family. Beautiful dog. I love the odd eyes. I hope you find a wonderful home for Bandit. Stay strong, but as Rita says - don't be afraid to weep.

I'm sad for you. My mom died back in'89, and it took a long time for the wound to heal, but it will. It's a comfort now that when I look in the mirror, I see her looking back. And when I annoy my boyfriend with all my sarcasm, I reflect on what I said, and I know she authored my humor. As I go through each day, I catch myself in a dozen little behaviors and mannerisms that were instilled by her. She's still here with me...I am her continuation. ...and btw, this is a knockout picture of a stunning dog. Kisses on your forehead, Therese.

Therese this is one gorgeous dog! What a beautiful face and such amazing coat of color! I too hope you are able to find him a wonderful home. I can understand how hard that might be. I wish I were able to take him in, but I am unable to at this time. He looks like he would be a grand friend to have. I agree with Rita that you should follow Bunny's advice. You have so many who love you hear and we open our hearts and ears to you! Sending hugs your way!

While I was out walking yesterday, there was a women pushing a collie in a baby stroller it was so cute... And I am sorry to read about your mom, my dad passed away last April he was 78 and I miss him every day!! hugsss
