Hmmm...a shot taken from a Westin hotel. auntietk and beachzz really turned the Westin into something that I'll always remember fondly, though you don't seem to have a 12th floor parking garage dominating this shot. Ah, but it's got that lovely urban-from-the-top look to it, and the light is fabulous. I particularly like the rich details and the fact that there's a tiny little courtyard in that building...great work, and as always, it's an immense pleasure visiting your gallery.

Great eye-catching shot. San Francisco! Home sweet home...not really...two years only. But I recognize the archtectual style. I knew the man who travelled from Boston in 1946 to San Fran...invested about $750,000 to buy the St. Francis...it was a rundown property. His Boston real estate partners practically had a hemorage. He bought them out. Reconditioned the hotel from stem to stern and in less than a year sold it for over $3,000,000. That was a chunk of change in 1946!
