Description
Evening prayer rituals were of extreme importance to the Ancient Egyptians. The sun setting in the Western Desert represented the Land of the Dead where all the gods, pharaohs and deceased relatives lived. Prayer offerings, the Egyptians believed, would insure good things in the Land of the Living. The gods represented here (standing from left to right) are Anubis, Horus, and Osiris (king of the gods). Also on the floor is the ram sphinx of Amun. The wall painting shows the offering pose. The priestess prays while the priest offers food, drink and flowers.
All the figures are Daz and the assembly was done in Bryce with some post in Photoshop.
