Description
I've been reading up on shooting snow, how to find the correct exposure to compensate for the large white areas that tend to confuse the camera sensors.
I practiced what I'd read for about 2-1/2 hours yesterday morning and I think I'm getting the hang of it.
Of course, next time I really have to remember to wear my boots!!!

Great image Didn't know you could read about things like this Ahhhhh be sure to wear shoes...them toes might get frostbit or worse Can't have that Snowing here a little got 3 inches two days ago I have stayed put Except my front yard just a bit and I wore shoes too LOL Hugs Susan~

Big time success on your part:) It is so easy to shoot with a White Balance setting (even WB auto) that just isn't right for snow. I shot some outside of my dog a day ago...lots of snow...too much blue cast until I fiddled with WB actually going through every offering my camera has. So, I appreciate what you did here to arrive at this fine photo. Neat composition too!!!
