Description
This little junco ate and ate and then I guess he decided to take a rest in the bush so that when he woke up he'd be near the food again, LOL.
This picture did not come out as clear as I had hoped so zoom probobly will look even worse, but he just looked so cute, all fluffed and taking a quick nap in the bitter cold.

Up here in Canada, when we don't see any more juncos (sometime in October) it usually snows not long after.

Juncos are some of my favorite winter birds. I don't get to see them much since what I feed the birds isn't always to their liking...but every so often I see them all puffed up on those really cold days. Adorable shot! :o)
