I hope everyone is having a nice weekend, it is still very cold here It hasn't gotten above 30 degrees since we had snow last week, my driveway is still a sheet of snow and ice. So we've just been home relaxing watching movies, reading, dreaming of Hawaii things like that haha
I had a knock at the door this morning, it was an older gentleman and a young boy, so I said can I help you and the Grandfather said with a sheepish grin, can we sled down your driveway and I said oh of course go ahead. I thought it was so cute they stayed out there for over an hour playing. I usually get kids out there wanting to play but this time its been so cold not too many have been out side at all. I still have our Christmas decorations out there lol. I guess I will bundle up later and go take them down, I don't usually leave them up so long but its not usually 20 degrees during the day here.
Okay I am going to go back to dreaming of Hawaii, lol you all have a nice day!!
This was taken in an area of the Smoky Mountains, in Tennessee called Cades Cove, this past October hope you enjoy, as much as I enjoy visiting the area.

Ultra superlative nature image in this composition, Lynell. As for temperatures, it's been in the low to mid 70s, day after day after day after day, here in Southern California, land of your birth. And, maybe I should have mentioned it to you when I knocked on your door, but I was actually the grandfather that asked your permission to go sledding across your driveway. Great shot of this lonly tree. Hope you have put your cristmas decorations to rest. We have to take down the tre and decorations at the 13th day after cristmas. An old tradition. Nice of you to share your hill for some sledge drivers......
