I thought at first as faemike55 did, and I imagined the giant aliens coming to pull the plug, and all the earth and would get sucked into the black hole that was unplugged! Ah .. but it's a stargate, on the surface of the sun .. and it will be the last day for whoever comes through ..

Beautiful image! I love the molten look of it. Wonderful (from an artistic point of view) smoke filled sky and tortured looking Earth. Since we don't have a portal to go through, I think we had better work harder on saving the planet we have.
